COUNTRYSIDE, Ill. - Shoppers at Dominick's Finer Foods will get more than fresh values at their neighborhood Countryside store, they will get a new shopping experience. Dominick's Finer Foods has undergone major renovations to its store. During its three-month renovation, the store refurbished its decor and updated its deli, bakery and liquor departments. It also constructed a new floral department, new produce department and an enhanced meat department. The new format of the Countryside Dominick's follows the company's new lifestyle layout making it more convenient and enjoyable for shoppers. "Stores in our community are reinvesting in our City and we are pleased to have them," Conrad said. "Their new lifestyle format corresponds nicely with our City and shoppers will benefit from the added value at their local store." The store has been open for business during the renovations and the finishing touches are almost complete. A re-grand opening celebration is planned for Friday, March 14 at 3:30 p.m. and from 4 to 8 p.m. the store will host a preview party featuring demonstrations and samples. The party will continue on Saturday, March 15 where there will be a 12-hour sale from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. "We are pleased Dominick's is committed to our City. They are an important part of our retail offerings," Conrad said. "Convenient shopping choices are what make our City a great place to live and shop." Dominick's investment in Countryside corresponds with the City's development plans. The City is actively marketing itself as the place to shop, dine, buy a car and stay at one of our hotels. A market assessment and redevelopment strategy for the City's commercial corridors is being completed while the City is actively marketing two properties on LaGrange Road. Dominick's Finer Foods is located at 6704 Joliet Road. Store hours are 6 a.m. to midnight every day. |
