The City of Countryside has reaffirmed its commitment to making its parks system one of the best. At the October City Council meeting, the City Council awarded a contract to the Kenneth Company of Bolingbrook to reconstruct Woodland Ridge Park in Ward 2 and Brancatto Park in Ward 3. At Woodland Ridge Park, the redevelopment will consist of native seeding and plugs on the raised area with the existing retaining wall, miscellaneous landscape improvements, and the installation of an under drain. Brancatto Park improvements will include the installation of an accessible playground including safety surfacing, fencing, landscaping and site amenities. It is anticipated the scope of the work will be completed by the end of the year.
