Tickets are now available for the annual Children's Christmas Party! Date: Saturday, Dec. 2 from 10:45 a.m. to Noon Location: Operating Engineers Union Hall, 6200 W. Joliet Road Cost: Free!! Party activities include visits with Santa, entertainment provided by Popeye and Swee'Pea, refreshments and Christmas stockings. Don't miss out on prizes and a bike drawing. The Mayor and City Council have invited all Countryside children ages 12 and under to attend the Countryside Christmas Party. Free tickets are available at Countryside City Hall, 5550 East Ave. Pick-up your tickets from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Please note City Hall will be closed Thursday, Nov. 23 and Friday, Nov. 24 Letters from Santa! Also, Friday, Dec. 1 is the deadline to submit information for letters from Santa. Children ages 2 to 12 can receive a personal letter from Santa after filling out an information form and returning to City Hall. More information is available by calling 482-3645.
