Making its way across 45 cities in Illinois and Northwest Indiana, the trophy will be on display Tuesday, Aug. 15, at Countryside Park, 630 61st St.
"We're ecstatic to have such an iconic piece of baseball history on display in our city," said Mayor Carl W. LeGant. "We couldn't be more proud of Chicago's ballplayers."

A suggested $10 donation for the event is requested for all visitors, benefiting Chicago White Sox Charities and the United Way on behalf of U.S. Cellular. Attendees will also need to bring their own cameras to take pictures with the trophy.
