Countryside to Drivers: Fill'er Up!

COUNTRYSIDE, Ill. - Drivers exasperated by turbulent gasoline prices can find comfort in one city where the prices are consistently lower than the rest. Gasoline prices in Countryside have time and again continued to be lower than prices in both DuPage and Will County. The absence of a municipal gas tax has enabled Countryside to offer more affordable prices at the pump compared to other local areas.

"We are pleased that residents and others passing through have the opportunity to fill up their gas tanks as affordably as possible in Countryside," said Mayor Robert Conrad. "In the current economic climate, we encourage everyone to consider our City as their local destination for gas to help save cash."

Thanks to its low gas prices and convenient location just off I-55 and I-294, Countryside gas stations have enjoyed booming business over the past few weeks. Those stopping by to fill their tank up can also accomplish their other errands at the City's handy retail locations such as Best Buy, Circuit City, Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Dominicks, Jewel, Home Depot and a host of other specialty stores.
